The Wagner mercenary force chief, Yevgeny Prigozhin, will move to Belarus under the deal brokered by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to end the armed mutiny that Prigozhin had led against Russia’s military leadership, the Kremlin said on Saturday night.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Lukashenko had offered to mediate, with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s agreement, because he had known Prigozhin personally for around 20 years.

I was thinking it might be a good idea to avoid any tall buildings, anyone Putin feels was disloyal in this crisis may be making a sudden exit.

…or get blown up by a car bomb…or come into contact with a military-grade nerve agent or radioactive substance. Putin may have dropped the legal charges, but now it’s a race to see who’ll send Prigozhin to his well-earned early demise. Lukashenko might get in on the action too if he feels he has to help Vova save face.

The suggestion that the Biden administration is secretly partnering with Prigozhin is especially rich considering that he was the financier of the Russian “trolley farm” that the Justice Department named as helping swing the 2016 election for Trump.

After some squabbling and murders, some other orc will take charge of the band (or bands if they splinter based on the operational theatres). With any luck it will result in some more dead fascists and psychopaths and the criminal organisation as a whole being permanently hobbled or fragmented.
