No one ever killed dozens of people and wounded hundreds more from a hotel window while armed with a knife.
To even try to compare guns to knives is laughable in the extreme. Most of the world has figured out that guns need to be regulated and that regulation saves lives. America is the experiment that keeps proving that point.
We need strict checks on all gun purchases, a ban on gun shows, hard limits on gun/ammo purchasing and ownership, and no public carry - concealed or otherwise. That would put us somewhere back into the realm of sanity.
