I actually have a Japanese version in my apartment, but after waiting five minutes as the ‘drying’ function is blowing and then having to resort to TP to dry off anyway…meh.
…and if you have not gotten to a regular schedule for pooping yet, may I recommend more fiber?
slightly damped TP, followed by dry TP, for ( rare) unscheduled / emergency pooping is good enough to last until next scheduled shower time, no need for extra showers.
But it’s just one wipe, no? I call it a “victory wipe”. Not to evoke too much imagery, but without a Japanese style toilet I’ve found that there’s often more than one wipe required.
And I almost never use the dryer feature.
