Beep beep.
I’m beginning to think Coyote isn’t the super genius he believes himself to be.
I think his Acme Cat Catching Kit was defective.
That’s the best-fed coyote I’ve ever seen. The ones I’ve spotted in my neighborhood always look emaciated. (Maybe because we’re most likely to see them come down the hill into the human-populated areas when they’re desperate for food, e.g., during drought.)
I’m not really surprised the cat was able to chase the coyote away. Unless the coyote is actively engaged in a hunt, the smart thing to do is to avoid unnecessary confrontation. Even if it would “win” in a battle with the cat, a scratch poses an infection risk down the line.
I don’t know if it’s true, but I’ve been told that packs of coyotes will get domesticated dogs to join them when times or good, but turn on them if/when food becomes scarce.
Police Cat!
Wow!! so many cats and coyotes in the same parking lot… Oh, hang on… Is this looped?
