One of my favorite local birds is the kookaburra, they pair up and travel as a monogamous couple for life. They always have two fledglings flying with them but they lay three eggs… The two strongest of the hatchlings eat their sibling…

Nauseating!

Looks sort of like one of those murder hornets too. Are those being spotted in the US again this year? :grimacing:
