Holy Dang!
idiocy is international
Someone had both a bad and good day.
I wonder if the Indian public would tolerate USA safety regulations such as no riding on the outside and doors closed while moving.
Every time I see something like this, it makes me think of that subway episode of Homicide: Life in the Streets with Vincent D’Onofrio.
In a city that sees on average 10 train-related deaths a day “either from falling off crowded trains or while crossing the tracks,”
Holy crap. 10 deaths per day!?!?!??!
Not sure how common this stuff actually is, and how much of it’s tourists taking “lolz, foreign cultures are wacky” photos out of context, but it doesn’t necessarily surprise me.
10 people dying a day on public transport.
Multiply that by family, friends, loved ones and acquaintances that will miss and grieve a persons loss.
How have people come to see so many deaths as ordinary and not shocking if they are outside of our world view?! WTF!!
Now I have those nightmares again. Most terrifying episode ever.
