I’ve found it amusing that there’s the widespread idea of giving cats milk even though there lactose intolerant

Yup. My late mother took care of several cats and would regularly give them tuna or milk.
It took a while to convince her to back off on that stuff for the well-being of the kitties.
Centuries of herding have allowed a certain percentage of the human species to develop a tolerance for milk, but in general milk is for infants, not for adults of ANY species…

The most dairy my cats ever get a chance to taste is maybe a dollop of natural yogurt on the end of my finger. And that’s maybe once a week at most.
