It’s because right wingers define it differently. For us, toxic masculinity is the subset of masculinity that is toxic (sexism, homophobia, transphobia, violence), but for Fox News they view all that as real masculinity and therefore toxic masculinity is a war on men.
It’s entirely dishonest, but what do you expect from Fox News.

Seriously, though, I think we’ve won the war on cows. Most of them live in horrible internment camps, undergo forced insemination, and we eat them then wear their skins.
(I eat meat, just saying, factory farming is pretty bad.)
