I found it moving and cathartic.
The way she stayed the same while everyone else got older and changed…and she changed, too, but she was still just . . . her. This is the perplexing feeling i have felt my whole life. . . It’s going too fast so i have to focus on small things to make it make sense. Hands, a road, an hour in bed, a story my dad told.
I am 50, my son is 25. My parents have long passed.
This film made me weep.
Also, it’s true nobody tells you about fucking menopause.
Or maybe they did and i didnt listen cuz im really still 12. I always will be.
