Aggro pudgey middle aged guy with goatee, cargo shorts with untucked Marks Work Warehouse shirt, and SUV is a Canada-wide type. Avoid at all costs. I have an uncle who matches that description, but is actually a solid guy. He is the one exception that proves the rule.

I used to walk to work past the Royal York hotel in Toronto. The RCMP would escort politicians staying there. They would clear the side walk like a bunch of thugs. I complained to an officer once about shoving me, and he told me he wished he played hockey with me so he could show me what a real shove was. He then called me a “pussy fag”.

I stayed there once. Someone I knew had an in and we slept like 4 in a room. The nicest place I have ever stayed at.
