Apparently in many reservations across the country many “elders” are now no older than 30-35 because COVID has taken so many older people. A terrible loss.

I saw that! Very cool.
I don’t know where I saw it, but I one time saw an animated show with a superhero and the language was a native one. I think it was a Canadian production. Sorry I can’t recall the name.

Black Robe is a great film with dialogue entirely in Huron and French. the title is the name the Huron used for Jesuit missionaries.

+1 on both The Black Robe and The Fast Runner. I was lucky to catch The Black Robe in the theater back in the day… what a powerful movie.
