There needs to be a movie festival where Sweded versions of movies are shown.
Short, low budget remakes of movies like these remind me of Spike and Mike's Festival of Animation, Home Movies, and watching the student movie festival at the local university where there was always at least one low budget remake of a well known film. I remember the first low budget remake that I saw was at the local main branch library, they played Hardware Wars (video) and I found it hilarious, even though I don’t think I had seen StarWars yet. That was clearly a spoof, but Sweded films often blur the line between a loving short retelling and a spoof.
