Watch: woman at Alabama rally uses airtight logic to prove Trump is still president

How about at a shop in Crouch end?

For he walks the earth again
But not in mecca or in jerusalem
No, he sells papers and beer in a shop in crouch end
For he walks the earth again

Yep, you are right.
I completely forgot about the French & Indian war and was thinking about the Louisiana Purchase.

The “airtight logic” here means “oxygen-starved”, right?

Almost certainly. Who would not want that? [/Irony]

The Trumpists believe in Westphalian sovereignty, so let’s play by their rules for a while :smiling_imp:

Britain, France and Spain have dropped their claims on US territory, but that happened after 1776 so the territory claim would go to them (which they have already refused by treaty), then their successor states on American soil, which for the Louisiana Purchase territory would be Canada.

Florida will be part of Mexico.

Wrong kind of stain?

He isn’t Christian, even in a merely performative sense. So what is it that these people are missing in their lives that they worship him? I mean I get the “He’s an asshole, but he’s OUR asshole fighting for us.” idea in principle, but he so obviously cares only for himself. He’s not really GOOD at anything, so why is he worshiped like the second coming? It’s not like there aren’t plenty of other GOP politicians willing to kowtow to the white supremacists. So why a NYC RE shyster with a string of bankrupt businesses and an inability to speak coherently?.

He’s an aspirational figure. He’s the kind of abusive and impulsive arsehole they’d like to be if they had millions of dollars or power. Sure, they say they hate the “elites” but fascists always just want to become members of a new elite class based on their ethnicity and religion (and often gender), stealing from and assaulting the “undeserving” with impunity.

It’s the “might makes right” mindest that often emerges from growing up under the “strict father” parenting model., enhanced by being poorly educated (Grifter Biff’s favourite characteristic of his followers).

That speech patter is SO religious in tone.

“He’s already here!”

“say ‘I AM’”

Just switch out Trump and Jesus.

I kind of don’t want to search for fear of finding that this isn’t a joke, but didn’t you mean that passage about Trump supplanting Jesus is in the “King Trump Bible”? [If someone has actually published a “King Trump” version of the Bible, I think I’ve lost all hope for this world.]

If Jesus did appear at a Trump rally, he wouldn’t be very popular. He was a dark skinned proto-anarcho-communist, who taught that you should love your neighbour with a story, which if it were updated for modern times would have involved someone being saved by a transgender person or muslim after being ignored by Trump supporters.

I did joke about it a few years ago, with a story about how Pharaoh Trump turned away Mary, Joseph and Jesus at the border of Egypt when they were escaping King Herod’s childkillers.

Well her husband might but I’m not sure the woman in the video would legally allowed to own property, much less vote.

Fun fact: Alabama didn’t ratify the 19th Amendment until 1953.

I think most of us would be okay with that, as long as we get to keep the Keys
I don’t know if Mexico would want it back, though, at this point.

What @gracchus said. If they were rich, he’s exactly the kind of person they would like to be. Not like those fancy, schmancy elegant or classy or (gasp) educated rich people who make them feel inferior.

Reminds me of these from a few years ago. Sad, but brilliant.

Maybe. They could just deport the white folks, like was done to them.
