Here is the LP version! Christian Marclay’s Record Without a Cover.

Listen (YouTube)

That’s just the extended disco remix of John Cage’s 4′33″, if you ask me.

All I see is form in its emptiness and emptiness in its form. Maybe something’s broken.

I don’t get it.

“Class starts in 8 minutes, is your assignment ready?”

“It will be…”

(I know, film needs to be developed, but still).

Yeah, but clear film leader doesn’t.

Neat! and three Yoko Ono films too (one pre-Lennon)

For the sequel, they will run the projector for 8 minutes without any film. For Part 3, they remove the projector bulb, and for Part 4, they unplug the projector entirely.

Ha! I recently realised that a vinyl record with a gong sound at the end could be a nice meditation timer, only to find this record, without any sound at all:

I like the no-sleeve approach of your example!

Literally any album by Marcel Marceau works for that.

Also nice! I don’t like mime, but if your not looking at it I guess it’s fine. I would have preferred a relaxing sound, like a gong, at the end, instead of a loud applause, but I guess that if I encounter one of his albums in the wild, I may actually buy it
