I’ve never actually used this one myself, but I worked for a family from Strawberry Plains, TN–this is East TN, Appalachia–and the dad would deadpan “I haven’t had this much fun since the hogs ate my brother.” was pretty good.

occasionally it leaks out, mainly when I say “fuck it” to self-censoring myself on this board, but I am constantly refraining from typing here in my preferred idiom of 90s hip hop slang. like, if I were to reply positively to a post with "shit is mad ill, " it would probably come off like either ignorance or irony, but I assure you, this is how I speak with my friends, co-workers, my mom, etc. I mean, not exclusively, but with casual, daily frequency.
