…
they don’t make jingles like that anymore. damn. so good.
…And I don’t want to be killed by some Private Equity asset strippers.
“Gee whiz!”
You can’t afford to be merc’d by PE asset strippers! That’s only for those who can afford the VIP lounge and a bottle of Dom.
Speak for yourself. I have it on high authority I act like a petulant teenager.
One way or another, isn’t that how more and more Americans are being forced to “grow up”?
The alternative, is once a toysrus kid, always a toysrus kid, they even said it them selves. Peter pan it up. Age is a number, growing up is optional.
Easy to say, with all that sweet child-actor money (and parents who didn’t steal it).
Don’t grow up, there’s no going back.
That’s a pretty stacked kid cast:
- Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley
- Scott Nemes from It’s Garry Shandling’s Show (and hotshot TV producer)
- Janet from Bevery Hills 90210
- Steve Urkel
Brilliant jingle. You can still come to the Canadian Toys “R” Us, but everything will be half French, not Spanish. For everything else, there’s eBay.
The trick is to pick an age you’re good at, and stick with it.
There is a crucial distinction between child-like and childish. The less mature the adult, the more likely they are to get them confused.
“Youth is fleeting. However, immaturity can last a lifetime!”
- On a birthday card from my mother-in-law (I can handle the truth!)
wise words from the Doctor himself.
No. I’m not dealing with it. I still wish I was a Toy R Us kid.
Pardon my cultural ignorance but I am unable to figure out the connection to Tom Waits.
