For those not in the Weird Al fandom world, the section at 2:27 has his fan base absolutely losing their mind.
12 years ago, a dedicated fan who goes by RWapping and who is a graphic artist in his normal life, uploaded a video from 2006 that he made of Al’s longest song ever, Albuquerque. (Ever see happy noodle vs sad noodle? Same guy!). It’s really good but Al’s never commented on it.
The character appearing in the video (getting hit by a bottle of sauerkraut as a reference to the video) basically means it’s canon. It’s a niche nerdgasm.

I saw this the other day. I actually LOLed with the sound effects used in WAP. Way to take a very not Weird Al song and yuk it up.

Don’t worry, it doesn’t reflect poorly on you - times change and who wants to list to meh music when you have a catalog of stuff you like! Even when there is an occasional pop gem, you aren’t really missing too much, IMO.

It’s a sign of how out of touch with pop culture I am that I don’t recognize a single song in that medley (well, except for the “Don’t believe me, just watch” line). At least I recognize the artist’s names, and a couple of the animators by their styles.
