Considering the actual food is only ~30% of the total you’re paying, that would need to be quite a portion reduction. I guess smaller portions would also save some labor and utilities, but still, I think you’d be unimpressed at the savings. Based on some burrito places I’ve been to recently, it seems like I can get about 20% savings for a burrito that’s about 50% smaller by volume. Sometimes still the right trade, sure.
