Their presidential candidate may know a thing or two about the dangers of pornography. Perfect man for the job.

Not surprising. The GOP is simply demonstrating the logical conclusion of America’s perverse cultural glorification of violence and demonizing of sex.

I think more research is needed… where can one volunteer? asking for a friend…

America’s biggest health crisis?

To be sure, I’m extremely confident that it’s not guns either. Says the guy who would happily take away all your guns if he was ever ruler of the world.

It might be pie, though.

Politicians don’t follow the NRA because of “bribes.” The money the NRA donates to campaigns is small potatoes compared to the Washington average.

Politicians follow the NRA because they turn out single-issue voters on a massive scale. The sooner people accept the fact that gun control measures fail because our neighbors go to the ballot box to punish people who vote for them–rather than because of donations–the sooner effective gun control can happen. It’s tempting to imagine a shadowy cabal of gun lobbyists blocking reform that a majority supports, but it’s really EXTREMELY motivated voters.

The TEAGOP certainly has a problem with wankers, buts it’s not porn or even masturbation related.

Shame the site’s no longer live. For those curious, I’ll do some of the not-so-hard work for you. Here are my two favorites:

This second one, while FCC-compliant, is probably NSFW:

I see that they’re desperately trying to appeal to the Mormon vote after Trump alienated them.

Obesity (so yeah, pie), lack of medical care, and tobacco are probably the biggest three. The GOP takes money from tobacco lobbyists, and wants to repeal Obamacare. (And the tobacco lobby’s anti-science campaigns were good practice for their current climate-change denial campaigns.)

I can’t get past that because I’ve found same-sex marriage is one issue GOP candidates don’t want to talk about because they know they’ve lost.

Then again they’re not the brightest bulbs in the box if they’re listening to Tony Perkins.

I know a lot of Republicans. I have a lot of family members that are GOP voters on a consistent basis. But this year, most of them are going 3rd party. I am seriously wondering if the GOP has gone so far off the rails that it may never recover as a party.

Gay conversion “therapy” is dangerous. It is brainwashing children to hate their true selves. It’s downright disgraceful that anyone - let alone, an entire political party - would endorse it.

The picture is actually right.

The biggest public health crisis in the United States is that horrible, nutrient-free, artificially enhanced substance that passes for food (and I don’t just mean the pie, I mean food in general). It’s making everyone obese with all the related illnesses that go along with it, driving up the cost of healthcare.

Happiness is a warm gun.

If you know what I mean.

…but this is still not as bad as they have been, or could be.

It isn’t that long ago that the GOP platform demanded the recriminalisation of homosexuality. And a substantial portion of the modern GOP are still openly calling for the death of GLBT people.
