This is why I’ve been using a Logitech trackball for twenty years. First an M570, now an M575.
I also did the switch from mice to a logitech trackball of similar design about 5 years ago. It helped with the RSI I had been experiencing, but then I started getting pain in my thumb joint. I switched again to a larger trackball that I roll with my fingers and I’ve been happy ever since. I still go back and use the logitech ball from time to time just because it’s so nice, though.
Vertical mouse for the avoidance of this problem.
I’ve been using a trackpad for quite a few years. The odd time I use a mouse weeks of pain remind me why I don’t.
Scroll wheels are the very devil himself sent to torture us alive.
