Don’t forget Mai!
and this guy, or it ain’t happening:
Yep, it appears I was mistaken, and that it was two different animation houses… though with 140 animators working on ItSV alone, I’m sure there was probably some cross over.
Has anyone seen The Green Knight yet?
Target for today:
On my list…
I wonder if this means no more Killing Eve, or is The Chair just a side hustle for Oh?
I wondered the same thing. Whew!
Just watched season 2 of Love Death and Robots. Like season 1 it’s a mixed bag, but the final couple episodes are excellent adaptations of two classic SF short stories, Ellison’s “Life Hutch” and Ballard’s “The Drowned Giant” and are well worth the (short running) time.
It was great to see a show that deals explicitly and well with U.S. class differences. (Spoilers here only through first 5 episodes.)
“Brilliant?”
Not the adjective I would have chosen.
I hated the last ep; with the status quo maintained as expected, the apathetic ending for mostly unlikeable characters left me underwhelmed and wishing I hadn’t even bothered to watch it at all.
If I ever need ‘a reflection of current society’ and how shitty classicism is, I can just look at my own life.
Fingers crossed it’ll encourage some boojie shits to take a closer look at their own lives.
Wishful thinking, sis; honest self reflection doesn’t tend to be a trait that’s embodied by very many of the affluent class.
No doubt, and certainly a point the show itself makes.
I didn’t say or mean “very many.”

Also, new season of What We Do in the Shadows on September 2.
No. As badly as they fucked up the final season, they effectively torched the building on the way out the door.
I enjoyed it, but Mrs FSogol slept thru it. They could have cut back on mood and art for a little more story. Dev Patel was great.
The clip on the IMDB page states that they’re bringing back showrunner Clyde Phillips (the first four seasons). They might just salvage this thing.
FUCK NO.
That part.
I didn’t even finish the last season; Breaking Bad caught my attention and I never went back to watching Dexter, it had gotten so terrible.
But I read about that “ending.”
