Thank you! Got so busy here that I forgot that episode three came out today! I can use something to lighten the mood.
*Note lightened mood is only relative to war-scrolling. Actual mood will remain very dark, with occasional grim humor

The latest episode of Raised by Wolves…
Thank you for heads up. I’m a few weeks behind. After watching the s2 opener I had to rewatch s1 because I thought I remembered it all but was confused AF.
I must say the transition from one side of the planet to the other was rather jarring…
Raised by Wolves season 2 is keeping up with the thoroughly weird aspects of season 1.
Night Shift is a drama about officers’ different perspectives as they handle cases and deal with an émigré. Virginie Efira and Omar Sy’s performances were very good:
Yes!
This show shouldn’t work, but it does. Hilarious! (They had me at Will Arnett.)
It had a dopey quality, but was a lot of fun.
Isn’t this just a re-badged Murder in Successville?
ETA: Yes.
Trivia
Remake of the UK BBC Three show ‘Murder in Successville’
I got through the first short of The Boys: Diabolical, but I really don’t see the sense of it. The first episode is like The Boys and Animaniacs had a child together, and simply seems to glorify the very behavior they’re critiquing in the original series.
Anyone else see what I see?
So, Severance continues to be very, very good even as it gets creepier.
But, for anyone that is interested in it I wanted to put a warning here for some very serious self harm specifically suicide. If that is not something you want to see probably don’t start the show.
Ooh, thanks! I will have to track that down and watch it!
I watched two episodes of Pieces of Her. I’m seeing a lot of “person on the run” plot holes. Did you watch the entire season?
Speaking of remakes of British shows, I mentioned watching the American version of Ghosts before, with some doubts, but it has really gone in some different directions, and has a lot of new plotlines now. I find myself looking forward to it as one of my comfort shows
ETA:
Yeah…it is…odd. Weird that they present it as something seemingly in universe? It’s such a Chuck Jones pastiche too. I mean…Imma just put this here:
2nd short: okay, we are just going to cycle through a bunch of different classic(?) animation styles and do whatever we feel like short to short (nice Justin Roiland cameo, nerds. Also “Tongue-Tongue is all tongue”). Meh. I do want to see the Simpsons episode though.
You know… I’m enjoying Cobra Kai probably more than I should… it’s a bit hokey, kind of exactly what you’d expect, but I’m finding it a lot of fun… i love how they managed to bring back almost all the major actors from the original films (except of course, the great Pat Morita), even if only for a couple of episodes. And they keep managing to up the stakes and move it from a couple of middle-aged men who can’t get over their HS years, to them working hard to guide a bunch of teenagers through difficulties in their lives.
