Deinocheirus is still high up for me. Such a mystery for such a long time, but when they did find more, you really can’t say it ended up being just another normal dinosaur.

Have you seen the old BBC series “Walking With Dinosaurs” narrated by Kenneth Branagh? It’s from around 20 years ago and was one of the best first CGI representations of dino movement. My favorite character from that series was the infamous Postosuchus, a mean-ass proto alligator that sneaks around causing mayhem everywhere and wrecking havoc upon the countryside:

After the Fair closed, the nine dinosaurs, which weighed between 2 and 4 tons each, were placed on trucks and taken on a tour of the eastern United States. The Sinclair Refining Company promoted the tour for public relations and advertising purposes, since their trademark was the dinosaur.
