When Putin attacked Ukraine, American right-wingers kissed his ass. They're backing off now he's been denied a quick victory

In reference to Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, Bolsonaro said Ukrainians have "placed the hope of their nation in the hands of a comedian."

Fascists support other fascists, especially if they’re far away. Ukraine may have elected a comedian president but that’s still better than a science -denying clown.

I’ve wondered about that. She’s one of the very few ostensible “democrats” who routinely has her views expounded on Fox. Which, I imagine, in her mind may make her a unifying moderate figure. She seems unaware or uncaring that the Overton window has been dragged so far to the right, that to do so, one has to live in the neighborhood of Crazytown.

Don’t imagine either company wants publicity or blame if a plane goes down due to their actions (though of course, all blame for the conflict is on Putin). Putin’s happy enough to have planes go down if it scores propaganda points, so he might blow one up to energize his people.

Boeing (BA.N) suspended maintenance and technical support for Russian airlines and U.S. energy firm Exxon Mobil (XOM.N) said it would exit Russia, joining a growing list of Western companies spurning Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine.

Airbus (AIR.PA) also stopped sending spare parts to Russia and supporting Russian airlines, but said it was analysing whether its Moscow engineering centre could keep providing services to local customers under Western sanctions

Le Pen travelled to Moscow where she met the Russian president in the run-up to the 2017 presidential election. In October 2014, the far-right party, then called the Front National, borrowed €9m from a Russian bank to finance its election campaigns.

Even though Uhura and other prominent female characters in Trek were in the minidress uniform, they had female crewmembers wearing the jersey and trousers uniform in the background in the first 6 episodes of TOS, but the network complained so it was dropped after the first filming block.
