Yeah, growing up in the 80s for most means worn out 60s or just getting hip to the 70s.

that’s why I hate The Goldbergs (american tv show). I watched part of the pilot to audit it, and all the set design and costumes were the top style. turns out, all the acting and writing followed suit.
the real 80s was like Freaks and Geeks.

The top is obviously a set. The tv is not in a watchable position but more important who in their right mind would have nailed a C64 to the wall?
