Huh. I’d never actually wondered why February only has 28 days. Now I know!
Because it’s a sucky month, and the sooner it’s over, the better.

I find that January is usually the suckier month. January is almost universally cold, snowy and crappy (here, any way). February usually features at least one thaw. This February has been particularly harsh up here in the great white north, though.
March sucks too - you think its’ going to be nice, because hey! Spring starts in March! And sometimes it is, but just as often you end up with a cold, shitty, dreary month.
