The need for "air snake wranglers" is mounting, this has to stop.

Wasn’t there a Special Air Mongoose on the flight?

Nope, he is on FMLA, new mongoose in the den.

I don’t know Malaysian snakes, so I wouldn’t have taken the chance, but this seems to be a young snake and probably not venomous. The true danger was that it could disrupt some wiring or other essential component.

Just looking out for an oft-maligned creature. They’re really not as scary as people think. :snake: :two_hearts:

I’m more concerned about these (or any creatures) becoming invasive species.

You are correct. There’s a few possibilities (whip snake? cat snake?), just based on looking through this article:

https://www.ecologyasia.com/verts/snakes.htm

But for sure it doesn’t have the shape of a pit viper.

I suppose it wasn’t wearing a mask either

I can see why in some incidents, but for this one in particular:

The problem has been completely restrained and offers no futher risk to the flight.

Rather than an emergency landing inconveniencing everyone else, why not assign someone to guard them and continue to the destination?

Feels that’d it be the more sensible outcome… Legal issues?
