That clear-ish plastic skirt makes a really convincing height-above-the-water effect in the pictures. I’ve never seen that on a hovercraft.

when I saw the stills I wondered how they got a hovercraft without a skirt. then I watched the video and said ooooooh nevermind! making them clear is trippy AND probably useful for seeing rubble etc underneath.
