Nearly every day, I have to calm a friend or relative or family member down who has just seen a Borowitz Report story and flipped their proverbial shit. “B-b-but it’s in the New York Times!!” “No, that’s the New Yorker. It’s fake. It’s satire.” “Are you sure? It looks real!”
