I dig the classic Archie comics style, which in retrospect is a little rapey itself. Extra points for drawing The Donald in the plump style of the authority figures in the old comics, such as Mr. Weatherbee, Pop Tate, and Archie’s middle class father, In Archie’s world, the truly rich, like Veronica’s father, are slender like Jughead.
I hate the subject matter but that’s 2018, not Ruben’s fault.

Thankfully, due to continuous publishing, the comic has (AFAIK) more or less aged with the times and remained relatively current in terms of social mores.

They still sell the Archie ‘digest’ format on retail racks at grocery stores. Saw one the other day and was pleasantly surprised to see comics still for sale mass-market style.
