Oh yeah, the Youtube is only two days old.
Still, trust @anon61221983 to have her finger on the pulse, people!

Blimey, that is a hell of a cover!
ETA: After about 6.30 I was waiting for the bonus track!
I was watching Top 10 on AxsTV, turns out Lynda Carter has a singing career.
I also learned Gary Burghoff was in a band with Lynda in the late 60s, I knew he played the drums but I never knew about their band.
Here’s a medley of covers. Warning, it’s not that good but hey, it’s Lynda Carter.
Wow. A lot that I was expecting to see, but here are some more obscure ones.
Richard Thompson covering Joni’s “Woodstock”
And “Oops, I did it again” !
June Tabor and Oysterband “Love Will Tear Us Apart”
Steeleye Span “Rave On”
Juice Newton “Angel of the Morning”
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes “Goodbye Earl”
That’ll do, for now.
That reminds me that most people don’t realize that one of the songs Helen Reddy made famous on the pop charts was actually Tanya Tucker’s:
Edwin is one my heroes. Love this.
Oh wow! I love that!
Wow.
One of the tricky parts of Kashmir is:
So every 4 bars, the drums and guitar roll through a cycle that starts with the drums and guitar both landing on a solid beat at same time, and they roll in and out of sync. You can hear it clearly at the beginning: listen for where his thumb whacks the guitar vs where the leading strums land.
Once you hear it, it’s the auditory equivalent of an optical illusion, and one person playing it on one instrument has me pretty damn impressed.
