Rewarded? Hmm. Recently heard something like that in an Elizabeth I flick… except it came out, “Patience is a virtue, and virtue is its own reward.”
Translation: “Just shut up and wait.”
I wonder if the artist is saying that religion is a drug… or that some drugs make you hallucinate Jesus.
