I’m pretty impressed by Letitia James. I guess I don’t like the fact that an African-American woman who entered public service at the ground floor and work hard for years to establish herself as an advocate for her community is suddenly being dinged for playing by political rules, and being downranked in favor of someone who just floated in from above and outside. This seems to me to send a very wrong message to young women of color with political aspirations.
