Hmm can’t help think of this story about the xsser Trojan virus being ‘shared’ as an app to help HK protestors. http://www.idownloadblog.com/2014/10/01/xsser-mrat/

Wow; twenty years after its invention, someone’s finally found a legitimate use for Bluetooth!

The coolest thing is that whenever a new protest tactic like this is discovered somewhere, it’s immediately known globally.

Just as things like or “use goggles to protect against tear gas” or “establish permanent occupations” were immediately obvious to Hong Kong students at the very beginning of their mobilization, now decentralized wireless chat will be the same way for the next wave.

It’s like global protest just leveled up. “New technology discovered!”
