And to echo @milliefink; what makes you think that being able to point out to people exactly who did exactly what will suddenly open their eyes to the great evil perpetrated in their name?

I seriously think we need some universal “YOU LOSE YOUR JOB AND GO TO JAIL FOR THIS, NO EXCEPTIONS” rules for cops. You know, just to keep the honest ones honest. Like how about, just, for instance: If you arrest somebody for a crime that doesn’t exist in order to silence or punish somebody for accusing you or another officer of physical or sexual abuse misconduct, even if that accusation is without merit, you lose your job and go to jail.
