I’ve never understood rappelling as a stand alone activity, so doing it for charity never would have crossed my mind. Nesting bird parents can be a hazard. I’ve seen sparrows pecking at hawks to chase them off.

We had one used to break into the house via a missing slate on the roof. Herring-gulls are some of the biggest jerks on the planet.
