Shit, there are plenty of people who have that reaction even though they’ve never been a victim of the police, and are not criminals. They are just paying attention. I can’t even imagine how it must be for this man.

The hospital is fighting the suit, thats very interesting. It means there liability insurance believes a judge will nock down any award to less than what they want to settle. That or they think they can win at trial. Which scares the hell out of me because it means a well education person (attorney) has some sort of case law or believe that what they did was legal. Personally I’m guessing they think they can get a judge or appeals judge to limit the award.
Its going to be a sickaning finger pointing trial. “Its not my fault he ordered me to do it”… “Its not my fault they actually performed the procedures” and of course the police departments “its not our fault we hired the dumbest fucking cops in the history of idiots in uniform”
