1930s ice-cream parlour hidden in Cincinnati's art deco railway station

Amazon. Skyline Chili. In cans. Problem solved. But you have to catch the vendors who aren’t trying to stiff you for $12 a can.

You can also order it by the case from Walmart’s website. Some Walmarts carry the frozen version.

Oddly enough, it’s also available at Fry’s markets in the Southwest, because they’re owned by Kroger.

Cincy Favorites is WAY to pricey on just about everything.

Ya know, not to sound like a purist, but I’ve tried the stuff in cans, and it just never tasted right. The spices were off, or the texture was weird – it wasn’t until I used one of those spice packets and made my own that the nostalgia bell rang.

I’ve honestly never even considered ordering anything from Cincy Favorites. My fondest food memories of my Cincinnati years, besides Skyline, are the long john & kettle danish from Busken, lunches at the grotto of Scotti’s Italian, my one meal at The Maisonette, coffee at Kaldi’s, and reubens from Izzy’s.
