Reminds me of my old Sony Watchman portable TV. Neat idea but it wasn’t very practical.

Yeah - those 1947 mock-ups are very prescient. I had something like this, nearly 50 years later.

This is so spot on! It even includes the annoying pop-up ads in the form of the dancing cyprian at the end.
