Even better.

never look at pundits records. at most, you should cherry pick the one time a person was right and use that as their credentials. but really, it’s better to accept what they say at face value. ( same goes for economists too )

It looks like it. If he holds this level on Super Tuesday; it’s over. And he’s been working Texas and California steadily.

Possibly.

Remember that he needs a first-ballot absolute majority in order to prevent the superdelegates from awarding the nomination to someone else. And that the Dem establishment and corporate media are going to continue their opposition all the way through the general election (some overtly, some surreptitiously).

Defeating Trump is only half of the battle.

Oh, so suddenly we’re going to be focusing on Gen X as the “privileged” generation who “could have it all”, eh Joy? Give me a break.

If we’re going to break this down by age, let’s be clear: those Dems over age 55 are the ones less likely to be angry about the party’s Third Way stance since Bill Clinton, because they’ve been reaping the rewards (broadly speaking, of course). Those younger than 55, including Gen X, grew up knowing neoliberalism was going to screw us over – we’re the ones who are more likely to be angry and looking for change.

Yeah, I haven’t forgotten that thanks, and it’s hard not to be cynical about it. I do think if he’s at least close to 50%, with a lot of enthusiasm behind him, enough superdelegates could end up on his side.

I’m precisely within the Douglas Copeland-defined cohort, and the chance to vote for Bernie Sanders as my president is what I’ve been waiting for and, insomuch as any human can, working for since Reagan beat Carter in 19 goddamn 80 and I knew something was going terribly wrong.

I grew up listening to The Clash. The Clash are not on the Buttigeg bus.
