I love how the GOP is spending money to air ads in DC (which absolutely is not in play) just to make Trump feel better.
I wonder if he’ll manage to get to Nixon post watergate territory (around 25% approval).
While I’d love to see a historic rejection of the R’s - keep focused on 270 first. The rest is gravy.
But remember- this guy can’t possibly win.
Agreed. We need eyes on the prize, for sure.
Right?

He hired the Bridgegate guy that Christie fired. Ratfucking intensifies.
He’s on the ballot in at least one state.
Reducing the number of goppers in congress is very important, not just for dem control of the senate, but also reducing the ability of centrist dems to effectively veto any strong policies.
Do not get overconfident because of articles like these. Do not get complacent. Don’t let up.
I know this is anecdotal as heck, but for every person who seems even vaguely overconfident or complacent about Biden and the Democrats’ chances in 2020, I see about a hundred who are fretting about people getting complacent, and warning everyone against it.
So, I suggest to everyone here: relax, if just a little bit, if just for a weekend! Take deep breaths, don’t think about politics, most especially don’t worry about the election. It’ll do you good.
Something hopeful?
It’s only hopeful if we take the correct lesson from it. We have shown that he can be pushed leftward with organised pressure and campaigning. This should be a sign to continue our efforts and keep on going.
So much this!
“ In the average of all the polls, Biden’s ahead by nearly 20 points with suburban voters. This is a historic margin, if it holds.”
“ Biden’s lead in the suburbs is reflective of him doing significantly better than Hillary Clinton. Four years ago at this time, Trump was beating Clinton by a 45% to 35% margin in the ABC/Washington Post poll among suburban voters.”
You can’t win with just rural voters, Donnie.
White, rural, racist voters. Not all us rural folks go for that asshat.
He’s getting the urban and suburban racists too. Just a lower % of those voters to get. But higher concentration of population, so likely just as many racists in absolute numbers.
I’m not planning to give his run the attention it doesn’t deserve. Still, I couldn’t help noticing this brief summary of male-centered statements on this issue might reflect his outlook very well. I’m looking forward to having a president with the maturity to realize the best public policy is not all about them or their personal beliefs.
