No questions about climate change and war.
Oh, I’m sure “The Trump Record” is broad enough for Biden to bring up a lot of examples to highlight 45’s lies, failures, and fleecing during his time in office.
It should’ve been her.
this is good news–
unfortunately the opportunity to replace rbg gives him a chance to win back the non-racist, forced-birth crowd, a non-zero amount, tragically.
But what will you do about it Mitt?
Right? I’m so sick of these assholes coming out and saying shit like this but not actually doing anything about it!!!
It’s like having a spouse who constantly says “I love you, you are my whole world” but every night they are sleeping with someone else.
Words mean fuck-all…ACTIONS MITT!
I’m getting an error when I go to that individual page? Trying again?
And the mainpage:
No clue. I got there with no problem.
Hm. Weird! Maybe a momentary glitch?
Ohio?
Fox? That’s the more interesting part to me.
Their polling group is generally less biased than the “news” unit. To whatever extend you go in for Nate Silver, he actually says they’re pretty good. Polling is one of the things they do well to help put a fig leaf on their fair and balanced fascism.
IIRC, the actual news section of Fox News is also reasonably okay. It’s the “opinion” stuff (that makes up most of their programming, and isn’t clearly designated as such) that is flaming right-wing garbage and lies.
They’ve historically kept a Shep Smith or two on staff. Those guys are very conservative and don’t really hide it, but they do seem to have standards and lines they won’t cross. I guess if you’re getting news from them it’s like a movie critic you’ve read a long time. You might not agree with them, but if you know what they’re about, you can adjust your opinion relative to their other reviews. I think that’s a hard dance to do with news though.
It’s a less reputable version of the method the WSJ (also owned by Murdoch) uses: solid reportage combined with looney-tunes op-ed content. However, the straight news of Faux is a lot less reliable than the WSJ’s – partially due to the TV medium and partially due to ideology bleeding over (all those “mistakes” they make with chyrons and all those selective/deceptive editing choices for interviews). Also, Fox News’s opinion content (which, as you note, is not distinguished at all from actual reporting) makes even the WSJ’s swivel-eyed right-wing nuttiness look tame.
It might also be a case of wanting to energize Republican voters.
It’s official, Kanye is on the ballot in Kentucky. Saw it with my own eyeballs.
