A former Wells Fargo executive who defended the bank during its massive fake accounts scandal is hosting a fundraiser for Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign on Saturday, according to an invitation obtained by HuffPost .
In a statement, Harris spokesman Ian Sams defended the candidate’s record. “She literally investigated Wells Fargo as Attorney General and won an $8.5 million settlement for Californians, and she’s the only major candidate in this race who’s actually prosecuted banks for screwing people over,” Sams said.
Bustos’ LinkedIn profile says he is now the senior director of the center for social justice at GlideSF, a prominent progressive church in San Francisco.

I seem to recall a video surfacing not long ago with Harris joking about sending other POC to prison long term. We need a whole lot less incarceration in the US, not metric tons more.

If there is ever a Harris - Trump debate, Trump will be pissing blood.
And I would pay to see it. I don’t know if she would be the best president, (she would be lightyears better than Trump of course) but she would be the best Trump buster, IMHO. That counts for something. A black woman destroying him in a public forum would be must-see tv, absolutely.
Watching the debate I wondered if Mayor Pete has been letting his five o’clock shadow out so he doesn’t look so young.
