For every one of them? You sure?
I think you may have skipped a word there. I didn’t say all voters under 55, I said all those voters. If I meant “all voters under age 55” I’d have said that (not that I would, since 100% scenarios don’t exist in the context of politics). In the interest of clarity for those who, like you, weren’t following the discussion I’ve amended that above so that it’s clear which voters under 55 I was talking about.
Ah, that’s quite a load on the word “those”.
Not if you were following the discussion. But if that’s your only rebuttal left to my points, I’m generous enough let you have it.
Wow, how very brave of her
that’s it. get her outta here. sheesh.

Tulsi, your opponent is literally calling for the candidate leading the polls to be sent to the electric chair, and you’re worried about being divisive at this point? Are you worried you’ll be left off Trump’s Christmas card list?
Presidents have to make strong, divisive decisions every single day, and whispers that’s the job you’re interviewing for.
Jesus –and I cannot stress this enough – Christ.
This is rather strange. Even Ed Case, our other representative (who is a bluedog) is for impeachment, though not rabidly so. Our two senators are also for impeachment - Hirono loudly so for months, Schatz just recently committing,
The other newcomer to the next debate, billionaire Tom Steyer, got into race on an “impeach Trump” platform; he founded Need to Impeach back in 2017.
Too bad it’s California, where one tenth of our population lives, and not one of those important states like Iowa, New Hampshire, or even South Carolina
/s
Nope. Betty Joan Perske, aged 54 years 10 months, of Ancona Illinois actually finds excessive hand-holding to be quite comforting.
California moving its primary to the early Super Tuesday slot is going to be interesting- this will be the first time they’re an early primary state. Maybe it’ll counter balance the weighting given those other non representative states.
That way maybe we can get the nomination locked up really really early and people in all those other states won’t even need to waste their time on coming out to the primaries.
The people in Iowa do deserve more consideration than those in California in perpetuity- One woman one vote is so 18thh century. I mean one cares if the voters from California come out to vote.
If you want small early states - at least add Rhode Island and DC into the rotation of who goes first.
Contested primaries are a great way for candidates to prove they can argue their policies convincingly and handle themselves when confronted. They also inject life into the primaries for lesser office. If I were god of the DNC I’d schedule the primaries from smallest state to largest, to keep the competition as long as possible.
I hate the idea of Super Tuesday sealing the deal for Biden.
W/r to Iowa, I’ve participated in primaries in two big states (IL and PA), a bunch of smaller ones, and caucused in Iowa. As much as everyone loves to knock the Iowa caucus, it is a wonderful thing.
I’m sure it’s a wonderful thing for Iowans to have theirs first always- it’s not for the rest of us. They can be just as wonderful as the tenth primary or thirtieth primary.
New Mexico- Hawaii- DC - Puerto Rico - if you want small contests first - rotate through those as well. Of course- you need to let people in Puerto Rico actually have a voice in choosing the President first.
