Sometimes itās hard to know where to draw the line between āstanding in solidarity with the international community to isolate the Putin regimeā and just getting downright silly.
Itās not like Russian troops wouldnāt have known they were firing on a nuclear reactor.
And itās not like they would have done so without orders from above.
I trust Putinās pull-back to allow firefighters in as far as I can throw him.
International Cat Federation bans Russian cats from competitions
Now thereās a Best in Show Part 2 idea.
Ooh, that oneās gotta hurt.
āIn Soviet Russia cat judges YOU! (No wait, that true for cats in every country.)ā
this reminds me of the israeli attack on the osirak facility in 1981 except on a larger scale.
As the saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Well, except that Israel actually cared about that one. Israel seemingly couldnāt give AF about Ukraine or itās nuke plants. Or itās people for that matter. Neither does Russia.

Wait, waitā¦
Israel is keen to keep rank with its U.S. ally on the crisis. But it is also mindful of Moscowās military sway in next-door Syria, where Israel regularly strikes Iranian targets. Israeli-Russian contacts prevent them trading fire by accident.
(As of 2014, Russia is Israelās largest supplier of crude oil (alongside Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan). As of 2016, Russia was Israelās main supplier of oil.)
The way to end this war is oil as a weapon.
(Insert American crickets chirping here)
Well, that rhetoric escalated quickly.
The attack on a nuclear power plant makes a pretty damning case even more damning.
āBut Pooky Fluffybottom was born in Marthaās Vineyard!ā
Please. No one is going to try Putin in court. The only way he would ever get his just desserts is if someone offs him.
He can be charged, but as long as he stays out of member nations, he canāt be arrested.
They can try him in absentia if they have to, but I do agree that one of his entourage turning on him is still the more likely comeuppance.
Hate to be a pessimist, but I wonāt hold my breath. This is only the latest war Putin got Russia involved in, and has never faced any consequences.
You canāt apply law and order to authoritarians who make their own.
Perhaps not, but you can cut them off from international society. And even the worst autocrats get deposed once in a while. Letās not forget Slobodan MiloÅ”eviÄ.
