Weirdly, shortly before the war I read the novel Day of the Oprichnik by Vladimir Sorokin, which is a satire of a future Russian state where a Tsar is ruling through terror and Russia has completely disconnected itself from the West with wall, but as the novel continues it becomes clear that Russia is basically just China’s vassal state and everyone’s just pretending it isn’t.

Now I have to figure out what to do with them. I think some simple frames with a mat around a sheet of stamps would be nice presents for family and friends.
