Bulgaria is considering halting Ukrainian grain imports, Reuters reports, after Poland and Hungary decided to ban grain and other food imports from Ukraine to protect their own agricultural sectors.

Poland and Hungary’s move has prompted a row within the European Union, with a European Commission spokesperson telling Reuters such “unilateral actions” are “not acceptable”.

Local agency BTA on Sunday reported that Bulgaria’s Agriculture Minister Yavor Gechev said the country was mulling over a similar ban.

Not confirmed yet in the :canada: press, but possibly this one, which has been parked near the 427 and Dixon for a while now. You can’t miss it if you’re coming up to the airport from the south.

I’m not sure what that’s supposed to look like, other than capitulating.

Well, he stood there flagrantly geing president of sn independent country and took no steps to change that. Obviously, he was asking for it. There are sooo many parallels to abusive relationships in this mess, it’s a little scary. Right down to outsiders asking “what she did to make him act like this.”

“Obviously, if the conflict spills into civil war and Prigozhin’s mining act is threatened, we will see a more active military role,” Ramadi said.

He said the Wagner Group would face a dilemma over whether to redirect troops away from Sudan’s border with the Central African Republic, where Russia controls several mines.

500 deaths per day is equivalent to a light infantry battalion every day. A light infantry division every two weeks. Yowza.

I went to what was considered to be (at the time, I have no idea what school sizes are like these days) a fairly large secondary (high) school, and we had 500 pupils. Getting all 500 students together in the hall was difficult but with some bleachers and the first years sitting on the floor, we could just about manage it on special occasions.

An entire school’s worth of young men and women, wiped out of existence. Every. Single. Day.

Fuck Putin; I hope his end is unpleasant.

… well, once it’s established that the Czar is, uh, replaceable, then there could be a lot of replacing going on for a while after that
