Security expert Rainer Saks does not think Russia is responsible for the drone attack on the Kremlin reported on Wednesday because this would show the armed forces in a bad light
Really don’t know. However with russia stating that putin was targeted and it happened on Kremlin grounds it makes me wonder. Seems russia always wants to create a story to justify atrocities they commit. So perhaps this could be them trying to create a narrative that justifies targeted assassination attempts using missiles with high yield warheads. Alternatively it could just be something designed to drum up support domestically or justify cancelling a parade. I suppose time will tell as we see how big of a deal is made of it.
Hopefully Rainer Saks’s assessment is correct regarding escalation etc.

I’m afraid to think about how that could make sense. 
Older, poorly educated Russians who depend on state TV for their news are the main support base for the war. They’re not the majority but, like Faux News viewers in the States, they have enough numbers and clout to allow the fascist politicians to present an illusion of mass support for their policies.

Some speculation that it could be a Russian false flag. Always been conjecture that Putin was behind the 1999 apartment bombings in Russia, that helped bring him to power.
