On Sunday there was a queue of vehicles about half a kilometre long at the Vaalimaa border post.

A day earlier, some 7,700 Russians arrived in Finland through the three border posts in southeast Finland. That was 65 percent higher than a week earlier.

The Border Guard estimates that up to 20,000 Russians may enter Finland altogether this weekend.

Novaya Gazeta Europe’s source doubts the authenticity of the FSB data, because until now the FSB’s border services “didn’t work so fast.” Nonetheless, “the atmosphere within in the administration is such that security forces and the defense ministry will be able to persuade Putin to close the exits before it’s too late” said the source.

It’s a meta-genocide. Putin is emptying the satrapy-states in the effort to empty Ukraine.

Also, who needs a camp or a gulag for your political dissidents when you can send them straight to the front line and let the people you’re invading kill them.

Luhansk People’s Republic officials pressed Petrenko to tell them where the town administration’s cash safe was located. She repeatedly explained that Ukrainian reforms had moved the budget online, that everything down to printer ink was purchased through online tenders and there was no cash. “The damn Americans screwed up the whole system!” the officials raged, referring to Western support for administrative reforms.

Rusamova claimed that Putin intends to stay at the complex until at least next Thursday. The journalist also claimed that the president had pre-recorded several videos of meetings, which Russian state media intends to release sporadically throughout the week, to try and mask his absence from the public.
