Portland, and it’s neighbor city Milwaukie, has had a White Supremacists problem for quite awhile. It was really bad in the 1990’s. It’s how I learned at a young age that those involved in the White Power movement actively seek out authority positions to target non-white people; like getting a job as a police officer. I also learned that having brown eyes was enough of a reason for them to assault you too. To think this racist culture isn’t still being promoted in the Portland Metro area is to be wilfully naive.
It really saddens me that Jermaine Massey had to have his life unnecessarily distrupted in this disgusting way. I hope organizations reach out to him so he can obtain the justice owed to him.

I don’t think you were meant to take it personally; it’s just a statement expressing that ‘the system’ is working exactly as intended by TPTB.
